day 6 of 2012

it’s a beautiful (but sleepy) day in NYC. that sums up my thanksgiving for this quaint Saturday. had brunch at my older cousin’s place in Brooklyn Heights with my cousins. it’s nice to have a peer group among your relatives that you can talk maturely with. it was an interesting convo about life & jobs & income. scary, but exciting prospects i will soon have to deal with. my older cousin advising me to suck it up and live with my parents for a couple years to save $. which is true. 

this winter break has been a nice “reality check” reminding me of what is to come post-college. that education and learning is worth it, despite all our so-called stress, exams, papers, and annoying professors. that college is a HUGE luxury that only few can afford. so yes, i am blessed beyond compare for these opportunities.
